General description
The Vibration Feeder (VF) is designed for integration in sampling systems for transport and dosing of dry and non-sticky bulk material. The VF is normally used to perform dosing of sampled material to further sample preparation.
A complete Vibration Feeder consists of a vertical inlet pipe ending in a horizontal transport pipe. The horizontal pipe is attached to a vibration unit and the design is closed for maximum dust tightness.
An inspection and service door is attached to the upper wall horizontal transport pipe.
Vf with electromagnetic motor
This VF is for a controlled feed rate and will make a uniform flow of material.
The vibration amplitude and frequency determines the feed rate and can be adjusted with a potentiometer which is part of the delivery.
Vf with unbalanced motor
This VF is for a high feed rate and a long transport distance of the material.
The whole construction is supported on 2×2 points and the 2 unbalanced motors are mounted on each side of a rugged bracket welded to the vibration pipe.
